Based in Gastonia, North Carolina, but with experience throughout the Southeast, Pearson Properties is a diversified commercial real estate development company. Since its conception in 1989, it has developed or purchased fifteen retail centers totaling 1,200,000 square feet, five industrial buildings totaling 900,000 square feet and twelve office buildings totaling 330,000 square feet.

Recent projects include a 560,000 square foot warehouse for SAM’S Club in Charleston, SC, an 80,000 square foot medical office building in Belmont, NC and the 239,000 square foot Gaston Mall.

The company consists of three ex-bankers, Rob Pearson, Joe Pearson and Cynthia Fletcher, plus Charlie Pearson, whose background is accounting and non-profit. Property management, leasing and brokerage services are offered through an affiliate company, Pearson-Gray.
